Contemporary Controls Wins Two CTA Awards

Peripheral Product of the YearFebruary 2015 - For those of you who participated in the CTA Awards, thank you for voting us the 2014 Peripheral Product of the Year! We're best known for the BASrouter, but we have an entire suite of solutions for the building automation industry.

"The CTA Award for Peripheral Product of the Year is especially meaningful to us because it is a recognition of the value of our products by the people who really matter - the system integrators who are depending on our products to get the job done," said George Thomas, President of Contemporary Controls. "It is also a recognition of the efforts of our employees who design, produce and support these products."

The ControlTrends Awards were created in June 2012 by Eric Stromquist and Ken Smyers as a way to recognize innovations and achievements in the HVAC, Controls, and Building Automation Industry. Contemporary Controls is grateful for the continued support and effort Ken and Eric have invested in this community-building event.

In addition to Peripheral Product of the Year, our president, George Thomas, was inducted into the ControlTrends Awards Hall of Fame. George Thomas has been president of Contemporary Controls for 40 years, witnessing the migration from standalone controllers to fieldbus-networked controllers to IP-based network controllers. At the awards ceremony, Eric Stromquist called George "the smartest guy in the room" and at Contemporary Controls, we certainly agree with that assessment.
